Issaquah Environmental Council - About the IEC

  • The mission of the Issaquah Environmental Council is to protect and enhance the air, soil, water, flora, fauna, visual, recreational, and cultural resources of the City of Issaquah and surrounding areas for the long-term benefit of its citizens. 
  • Our purpose is to affect the future of Issaquah through the promotion of intelligent and sensitive land-use planning and government policy.

    Our primary goal is to promote local citizen involvement in governmental decisions which affect their community.   Here is a primer of our City government .

      Continue community education, advocacy and comment on environmental issues

      Advocate for establishment of a comprehensive Tree Ordinance for Issaquah
